Well engine unreliability is not as much an issue as the problems associated with the electronic and electrical systems. However, Mercedes and the others are learning or have learned the hard way that their brand value has been earned. By the way if someoen comments that Japanese cars are on a par or better it is acceptable and well acknowledged however saying the same about American built cars seems a touch too optimistic.

Not really. Their engines are incredibly unreliable. Especially the new ones. That’s the thing with German cars these days. They just aren’t as awesome as they used to be. Now all they are doing is selling you their brand name instead of the car. Japanese and domestic automakers have got them beat even in the safety department.

Mercedes Benz without a doubt is the greatest of all manufacturers in terms of Innovation and Engineering. They of course are the oldest still operating manufacturer in the world. it started with Karl Benz in 1886 with the first ever Automobile. and look where they have come cant wait till i get my first Mercedes ill treat her like a Queen.

i’ve always like mercedes commercials, they always know how to make them interesting and powerful. volkswagen also makes good commercials but theirs tend to be more funny. i’m so sick of the terribly boring toyota, ford, nissan, mazda, etc commercials, they’re so unoriginal
