Your better off going to the local Jiffy oil for a change, the car is old enough that there’s no warranty to void. And the price can be around $10.00 no worries.
$10.00 for an oil change on a C240? Not very likely.
The C240 requires 8 litres/8.5 quarts of full synthetic oil and a synthetic fibre oil filter that alone costs over $20.00. That Jiffy Lube won’t be in business for very long if they only charge $10.00 for everything.
I have a 2004 E320. Requires synthetic oil. I would not take it to anyone but an authorized MB mechanic. Too much to lose.
Years ago I had an ancient MB 300D. Took it to Jiffy Lube and they put in 5 qts of oil, instead of the 8 qts required. I told them several times but they said it took 5 qts. I purchased another 3 qts and put it in myself.
