I want to put 87 gas in a 93 Mercedes Benz 300E 2.8 does any know if thats possiable with an older Mercedes? Do these cars last a long time and go up to high miles?

I’m sure that this car will require premium gas (91 octane) I had a 1993 190E 2.3 and it thirsted after premium fuel. High compression engines, like the older Volvo’s also required the high octane gas. If you service a Mercedes as recommended, it will last you a lifetime. Scrimping on service is false economy..there’s plenty of million mile Benze’s out there. I love them! Good luck!
