It really doesn’t matter about the make of car you drive. The mileage depends upon how you drive and where you live. Flat, hilly, mountainous terrain all play a part in braking. Highway and city driving play an important part too. To me, the most important thing is the driver. If one waits until the “last minute” or short distance to stop while maintaining a relative high speed, the pressure is greater on the brakes and reduces the longevity. If you start slowing down before needing to actually stop, the breaks will last longer. Being prudent in braking can make the brakes last over 80,000 miles. At present, my one vehicle has 132,000 miles and the other one has 94,000 miles. But I pull the wheels and check them every six months to insure they are still good.
