What is the average annual earnings of Mercedes Benz sales people? 1st yr, 2nd yr, etc?

My husband is considering taking a job with mercedes benz in devon pa (a wealthy mainline suburb). I am trying to gauge what the potential (realistic) earnings are for the first few years. Do you get any type of training salary during the ramp up period? Any info is greatly appreciated

I imagine its the same as all car sales people. The top 20% make over 100k per year. The bottom people are usually fired if they dont make enough sales in 1 month. If you **** at sales, expect maybe 20k per year. If you are average you will make 30 to 60k per year.

there is no real ‘average’ in sales because it depends on his desires to go out and ‘kill’ something to eat.
suggest u write a budget to understand what he needs to seriously earn each month. And u will not b paying the wrong things with ur money when it is short.
Most ’salespeople’ don’t know how to succeed in the cash flow section.
when he knows what is needed he will be able to generate the sales .
suggest acquiring reading rereading take notes of

‘what colour is ur parachute’
‘total money make over’ d.ramsey
the books will give u insite into what u like and may be best at , also ways to pay for such.
note a ‘job’ u love becomes a vocation not a ‘JOB’ and u’ll earn more $$.
the other book will assist u in keeping ur money and not becoming a slave to debt.
