As you will see in the pictures, the GT3 is a racing supercar, equipped with aerodynamic enhancements, such a changes in bodywork, lots of carbon fiber, as evident by the large splitter in the front and huge spoiler in the back.
AMG and Mercedes-Benz have released details of the SLS GT3 today in Mexico, saying that it will be launch alongside the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG on March 27th.
In the engine compartment it will use the same 6.3-liter V8 as the regular SLS, but with all the weight savings, it will certainly outperform it.
The new racing version of the SLS AMG is developed and produced by AMG in close cooperation with HWA AG. HWA is responsible for the DTM racing team on behalf of Mercedes-Benz Motorsports.
