If you’re good,60-80k. If you’re average 40-59k.
If our economy was better these numbers would be higher.

depends on the location- When i was in training they were saying about 50k a year starting out but they may have been stretching the truth too- i was also told i would make 30k easy my first year but im struggling to hit 20- it all depends on the area, the dealership, and the efficiency of the technician.

Lets say he does tune ups only ==20 k a year
lets say he is great and everyone loves him, and they bring there foreign crap to him about 60 70 k a year.

Actually…as GM/Ford move factories to Mexico and Canada (and they’ve started making many engines in China!)…Benz, BMW, Hyundai, Toyota, etc are building factories here…
