The Cars have to be one of the worst bands besides LYNYRD SKYNYRD, AC/DC, QUEEN, BEATLES, ROLLING STONES, THE WHO, PINK FLOYD, BOSTON, BLACK SABBATH, AND STEVE MILLER BAND. They have
only made 1 decent song in BYE BYE LOVE and which that one isn’t
as good as songs by good bands, Dire Straits, Foreigner, Nirvana,
and Guns N’ Roses. Other than that, the Cars are just for BABIES!
I still want everyone to avoid all the albums from this lousy, overrated band as they suck. Go get albums from Dire Straits, Foreigner, Nirvana, and Guns N’ Roses insted.

No seriously, even without the nipples on the cover this is a great album.
CANDY-O is a very good record. The second of two albums that greatly demonstrate what the genius of THE CARS really was.
Now, heres the scoop on the record. If you compare this to their first album, simply titled, THE CARS you will find that the first contains a lot more “radio” songs. However, this doesn’t mean that this album pales in comparison. CANDY-O is the one CARS album where the band experiments a little more. This was still in the days of Early New Wave, when it was all experimenting, but we stray from just radio friendly edits on this one. This makes the album very interesting, while at the same time still very catchy, AND most importantly keeping a rock edge… later that would fade away as the band would become much more saturated in pop during the eighties.
LETS GO and DANGEROUS TYPE are probably the best songs here, but everything is good. The title track will mess you up, you should just check the whole thing out as one. Its worth it.

THE CARS ARE A GREAT BAND AND ALMOST AS GOOD AS PINK FLOYD,LYNYRD SKYNYRD,BOSTON,THE WHO,AC/DC,BLACK SABBATH,LED ZEPPELIN AND THE STONES.THEY MADE NUMEROUS GOOD ALBUMS AND MANY EXCELLENT SONGS.GET ALL THEIR ALBUMS WHILE AVOIDING ALL ALBUMS FROM HUGELY OVER RATED BANDS LIKE DIRE STRAITS,NIRVANA,GUNS N ROSES AND FOREIGNER.FIVE STARS.
