How much do you recommend I buy a New car over a Used one?
Of couse, if you are rich enough, please just ignore this article, as you don’t care about the money, this post is only for people who don’t want to waste money on the brand new machine…which has no differences from the second hand cars.
I prefer slightly used mercedes benz car from a dealer as you get an added 1 year CPO warranty and can buy the MBZ factory additional 2 year warranty. These are great cars but suffer horrible first year depreciation (esp AMG for some reason) and are very expensive to fix even when something minor goes wrong.
I’ve recouped my CPO and extended warranty dollars on both my C43 and C55. (C-43 pneumatic seats, 2 crank sensors, and MAF…C-55 Nav Head unit, ECU, driveshaft failure including tranny and diff main seals). It’s true these warranties severly limit modding, but the C63 is a daily driver. I save the mod bucks (cha-ching) for the Porsche.
In this way you’re gonna get a pretty good second hand cars not only for mercedes benz, but also for other models, hope you can find the best car in your mind.
