I would not buy one in the U.S. The diesel ones get 70mpg,but oil companies lobby to pervent the euro version here.

golf clubs? not inside but a special rack is available for lots of things to be strapped outside.
I have ordered one. I will get it in Feb or March of 2009. If the deisel version becomes available in the interm I will order one of them as well.
The dealership network has demos available to drive and I would recommend driving one before ordering one. They are different!!! But for around town going back and forth to work, for me anyway, I have to say that they are the best thing on four wheels.

It has a top speed of around 145 km/h ( assuming ideal conditions of course. If you’re facing a headwind, forget about getting close to that speed ).

No, seating is strictly for two people. You can fit golf clubs in it OR one passenger not both.
