If you’re planning on buying a new car, trade it in. Otherwise, I would go with Ebay Auto. Make sure you post every detail about the car and have the reserve a couple hundred under what you really want for it. This way, once the reserve is met, potentail buyers will pay closer attention for it, knowing that someone is definitly going to get.

I would stick with auto trader, less hassel than e-bay. Newspaper is ok but cant usually get a good picture of the vehicle in. We had some luck selling our mercedes in auto trader.

autotrader.com is becoming more and more popular (maybe because they advertise a lot on TV and people already know the name.)

If you’re looking to get the best value, never trade it in to a dealer (believe me I work at one.) Your best bet is definitely autotrader since that website has the highest amount of traffic (much more than vehix, many go to vehix for new vehicles.)
eBay could also work, but if there is a certain price you are looking to get for it, just be sure to set a reserve on the auction. You also need to be careful of the people bidding, make sure they have good feedback, because all too often people will bid and bid but may not end up coming through in the end.
Hope this helps!
