so im offered an old running mercedes for 100 bones.
Im looking for a diesel and auto to swap into my 50 chevy pickup. Dont ask why i want a diesel in there..i just do. But maybe this car and frame would work for me.
So does it have a frame that i could set this truck body on?

No…it is a uni-body chassis with a sub frame to carry the engine and front suspension assembly . It also has a sub frame that carries the rear suspension and differential assembly

The W115 chassis is not a body-on-frame design. Rather, it is a unibody chassis with, as mentioned above, a separate front and rear subframe to help isolate vibration and give a smoother ride.
