i want to buy mercedes 300e 1993 which has manual front and rear windows, auto transmission ,(without slide roof) and has an air condition. does it have a genuine AC or it was applied later.and how can i be sure of its odometer (just 91000 mi)

1. Does the AC appear to be “integrated” into the dash or is it an under dash, hang-on type unit?
2. As for validity of the mileage, ask the owner to produce all the service records. Examine the dates and mileage readings on those records. (If in 2001, the car had say, 84k miles, you can pretty much conclude the mileage is not accurate).

Call or visit a Benz dealer and give them your VIN no. With that serial number, they can tell you if the a/c system is a factory item or not.
