The “A/C off” light/button stays on even if it’s hot (85 degrees). I push “auto” and reset and the dual thermostats are at 64 degrees and still no cold air. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If the AC “OFF” indicator light will not disengage , then you will need proper diagnosis to pinpoint the source. Here are a few possibilities:
The control panel, may be faulty.
There may be a leak in the AC system.
Failed Temperature Sensor.
Fault in AC Compressor, binding or electrical.
I hope it is a temperature sensor since it usually is the least expensive repair.
Good luck!
