I am currently 15 years old. I am planing for my future. I got some question about being auto dealer. I want to sell Mercedes and Corvette cars because they are the most famous cars in my country. Can anyone explain me how does this work. Does the factory gives me cars to sell or something else. I already have my own property to build a saloon.
My dad says that the factory will give me the cars and i sell them > I don’t buy the cars. Its somehow like reseller. Is it true
Another detail to add. I didn’t ment like charity. I ment like To give me the cars so i can sold them then to pay the factory and then they need to pay me for the job i’ve done to them.

first, you need to have a dealers’ license which is rather costly. then, you’re going to need to get hundreds of thousands of dollars to purchase the cars from the manufacturer.

Your pops is wrong. The factory is not a charity. You buy those cars–as many or as little as you want, unless you sold Chryslers…then they force you to take their junk.

Chances are you are 25-40 years away from being a new car dealer. If ever.
You would need lots of car business experience as well as a “floor plan” lender who pays for the cars you buy, then you repay them as you sell them.
