To a foreign car mechanic at the very least - one who works with your brand and who comes RECOMMENDED or rated/certified.
The dealership is a no-brainer and if they have to keep your car, you get a loaner Mercedes.

From experience, it is worth spending the extra $$ at the dealer to make sure it’s done right! Remember, they work on these everyday!

If you’re a real stickler about replacing the parts with Genuine Mercedes parts…. then a Mercedes dealership is the place to go. I will warn you that it will probably be more expensive there. Most tire dealerships, and places like Car-X, Merlin Muffler, Firestone, etc. are a more cost effective alternative to replacing shocks and struts. They are also equipped to align the front end. They usually run ads and special deals in the paper for those types of repairs. Check the papers and see what deals are out there.
