I have a 1974 Mercedes-Benz w/ a 2.8 liter inline 6cylinder. I blew a connecting rod and i cannot find one anywhere. I can find a rod bolt but not the actual rod, does anyone know anyplace i can get one? I’ve looked online at all the websites i can find, and I’ve tried Autozone and Auto, tire and parts and they said they don’t carry them and the Mercedes Dealer said they wanted 450$ for a new one and i don’t think I’m going to pay that much money for a new one. So if you could just please give me any sugestions it would help drastically.
