Are leftists also angry with foreign corporations that “ship jobs overseas” to the United States?

Add comments

We hear a lot of leftist wailing about the straw man that evil U.S. corporations conspire to “ship jobs overseas” for the sheer thrill of it. Therefore, I’m curious, do leftists have the same contempt for foreign corporations that “ship jobs overseas” to the United States? Like the Japanese auto companies who all have plants in the U.S., Mercedes Benz has a plant in Alabama, many foreign drug companies have plants and R&D facilities in the U.S. with many, many high-paying jobs. That’s just for starters, of course.

So, is “shipping jobs overseas” bad no matter where those jobs are “shipped”?
“Disconnecting myself from reality”, an ad hominem zinger about my schlong size, my what a leftist nerve I have struck. And the one from “Blunt, Ugly and Stupid” that he cares not a whit what corporations do is a real treasure as well.
11 minutes in, 5 answers from leftists, no one answered the question just ad hominem attacks and non sequiturs. No surprise there.

  1. Crow Says:

Disconnecting yourself from reality isn’t going to change the fact that corporations are using the Bush tax cuts to ship jobs overseas.

  2. Climbing Up the Walls Says:

“Leftist” in those foreign countries probably are.

  3. The Town Crier Says:

Are you angry that your Penis is only 2 Inches when fully erect?

  4. The Blunt Ugly Truth Says:

I never complain about the actions of businesses and corporations. They can relocate their operations wherever they wish.

In fact, it is conservatives–not liberals–who are always whining about their jobs going overseas. Too bad. Get an education next time, teabagger.

  5. Paul Jackson Says:

Why are Republicans angry about high unemployment if they love shipping jobs overseas so much.

It is obvious to even a very dull observer that the few jobs that are imported don’t compensate for the huge number of jobs that are exported.

The cars that are produced here by foreign companies are sold here. The goods that are produced in China by American companies are imported back to the United States. We use COMMUNIST SLAVE LABOR to make our goods. If I had my way they would get a nice big fat TAX on the way back in.

Left wingers need to get a clue. Especially CROW, who’s obviously so influenced by the lib media that he can’t think for himself. That’s sad, still blaming Bush when your inexperienced boy of a President has had full control for 2 years and owned all 3 branches of government.
I”m tired of the left wingers acting like entitled spoiled little brats.
Companies are obviously in the business of making money while providing a goods or service. And if Obama or Congress don’t do anything to make the business climate favorable, they have every right to flip the president the bird and avoid taxes by moving thier headquarters. Obviously that effects the domestic job picture, which is why these whiners should attack thier politicians for screwing things up, not demonize the company.
Its governments interference that has been documented in history to have caused most of the stupidity that has upset our economies. Democrats love to point to lacking regulation or a some excuse but they are forced to admit most times that they where the one’s the wrote the regulations, they were the one’s that were responsible for the proper restrictions and inspections.
GO ahead, think of one problem and you will find government at the core of it.

The BP spill………………proper inspections weren’t done right and was signed off by officials
Mortgate meltdown………Clinton pushed poor people into homes they couldn’t afford through the “Community Reinvestment Act” which was magnified when Fannie and Freddie started gobbling up as much worthless paper as they could……….implying a ‘government backed mortgage’.
The Economy…………..down-turn was triggered by the mortgage meltdown, as we were lied about having to OK tax money to stop the fall, Obama went out spending like a drunk whore, all the while claiming he would focus on “jobs and the economy” but spent the money to shore up companies, keep government unemployment to 3% and work on infrastructure rather than creating a favorable business climate. Sure, Bush approved TARP which also was a waste of money, but that’s still “government”.

Anyone remember the Savings and Loans Crisis back in the 80’s ? Government again.

Government makes the rules, government changes the rules, government interferes, makes up laws, changes regulations and manipulates the system. A whole industry or sector of the economy just doesn’t drop off the face of the planet or get into danger because they all happen to do the same thing wrong in thier business plan………no……..government screwed everything up by throwing in monkey wrenches. And the intellectually dishonesty of not admitting it but instead, demonizing corporations whom would have helped us get out of recession is just one dirty evil trick government tries.
Are you dumb enough to believe the propaganda when they do ? That’s a personal question all should ask…………….Especially the left wingers.
