I don’t know of any car mfgs. hiring right now. However, I have occasionally seen college internships from porsche, usually in Germany. Given the economy, this could give you a leg-up when things get better. Hope this helps.

Good luck - the car cmpanies are on the rocks right now. However, even when companies are laying people off they are always still hiring others, so don’t assume that when you hear that GM or Ford is laying lots of people off that it is impossible to get a job with them. You just have to contact them and see if they have a need for your skills. .
