The blower speed in my car (1993 Mercedes 400 SEL) stays on low no matter what the controller setting is (i.e the blower speed doesn’t change when I move the controller to the auto or max position). My mechanic said the blower and the fuse seem to be fine. Where else should I look for the cause of problem? Is it difficult to fix?

Um…. Its the switch itself. If your mechanic can’t figure that one out you need a new mechanic.
