Mercedes Benz is one of the most luxury car from Germany, which stands for honor and comfortable, but sometimes it’ll happen to have some small issues or problems with its A/C (Air Condition).
1, Take 85 380sl for example, one of our benz blog reader told us like this: When I first start the car it blows fairly cold but after a few seconds it start blowing hot air don’t have a clue on where to start on this.
And he kept saying, second problem I’m having is when you first start the car it will bog down when you touch the gas after a few minutes of setting and idling it will then run fine.
Did you ever meet this?
SO we help him ask some expert in the contact, and we got the reply: Not sure on the model, but there will be a valve to regulate the hot water that circulates through the heating coil and should be closed when the AC is on.
2, Another Reader of our blog said like this I have a similar problem with my 450 SL. I had a leak from the ac dryer. I replaced the dryer and had the system evacuated and recharged. Now the system blows nice cold air when idling, however as soon as I rev the motor or take it for a spin, the system blows hot air. Come to a stop and the nice cold air returns. I do notice that my dryer gets exceptional hot, so hot it can’t be touch.
and we got the reply of this: Take your car back to the AC service tech, explain your symptoms, and have him troubleshoot his work. Look over his shoulder as soon as he connects the gauges and mentally record the blue gauge and red gauge readings at idle and at speed.I recommend you take your Mercedes to a competent AC tech familiar with your car for a complete AC diagnostic service.
3, the third problem comes from a benz clk320 owner, The fan works perfect, no CEL, no EC light, but no cold air and the air compressor does not engage, at all. I just replaced the outside ambient temp sensor today and it works perfect now,

I have a 97 C280. The problem I have is the AC blows cold but I am having trouble regulating the air flow. I can never seem to get the air to blow steady from the center vents but sometimes, going down the road, the air comes blasting out like it should. Could this be a relay problem?
