$84,000 is just the base price. With just a few cheap and unreliable options, the S Class easily goes up to $110,000 plus. And here’s something new for you to learn, the LS 460 L starting at $71,000 has the same interior as the LS 600h L. Anyways, you could compare the S600 with the LS 600h L (again, about the same price) and the S600 still doesn’t have half as much features and technology as the LS 600 h L does. Up till now, there is no availible package offered by Mercedes that can nearly match what the executive class package offers in the Lexus. No matter what, the LS has way more.
Whether you chose the basic S550 or the S600, or the AMG models, the rear still is the same as the picture that is shown! To let you understand what I mean, one can get that Executive seating package Lexus interior (in a Lexus LS460 L for around $80,000 and another person can get a ~$150,000 Mercedes S600, with the rear seats as shown in the picture in the link. The Mercedes isn’t going to last for a long time anyways, hint: take a look at my new question.

I have the Lexus LS hybrid and the executive seating is much nicer than the Mercedes version. The Lexus has a cleaner feel, it flows, and it has much more room, amenities, and is a much more reliable car. Good luck with your choice!

  2. Alan P Says:

The Lexus’ interior looks more clean and upscale than the Mercedes. There’s more space and the best thing is that there is a legrest.

  3. Lex Says:

Do you have to ask :)? I love the LS’s interior. The S-Class is nice, but a little behind the times compared to the LS.

#1 looks good but DAMN your Doing to much.
    #3 BENZ looks plain

now LETS GET REAL CHECK OUT MAYBACH

  5. Carman Nguyen Says:

The LS interior is more luxurious and roomier. All bells and whistles, you will like it.The Benz prize is for the emblem and the bragging, not for practical purpose.

  6. Paul @ Rohrich Lexus in Pgh Says:

The LS600HL is a hybrid LS with AWD. V10 power with V6 gas milage. It is state of the art and the interior finish is light year ahead of M-B

Well considering im an driver and i dont like riding in the backseat neither… however, the Lexus one does look better but my only thing is its more of a car to be drivin in with all that stuff in the backseat. Its slighty pointless unless your bring drivin (like the Maybach) but over all the Lexus interior looks more techno. So i guess the Lexus,(that and Mercedes s550 gear selecter is on the wheel…) but i like the inside of the E550 better than them both. So basicly the Lexus is a good car for the drivin and the Mercedes is a good car for the driver. What made you hate Mercedes-Benz so much? Do you just not have the class to drive one? Im not saying you don’t, I’m just asking.

    MERCEDES-BENZ!!!
You pick a brightly lit cream color against a black leather color and ask which picture is nicer? What about the QUALITY of the walnut, the leather, the fitting?
    $104,000 for a Lexus?
A HYBRID that gets a whopping 20/22 MPG? SO WHAT???? Is that good?
It will never be a Mercedes and the resale value will never hold up against the S-class.
Why spend an extra $20,000? You said money is equivalent to showing off in another post, so wouldn’t I be showing off in the Lexus because it costs $20k MORE than a Mercedes?

  9. your_dear_old_mother Says:

The Lexus. The back seat of the Mercedes would be like sitting in coal mine. It’s so dark.
