I brought my new mercedes benz to good year(auto shop) for a wheel alignment. After I left I had grease throughout my car. Brought it back for them to clean the inside. They didn’t want to. While I was driving, I noticed my car was still veering to the right a lot. I brought the car back and they won’t give me a refund. They told me bring the car to mercedes and get it checked out. Mercedes says that the car isn’t aligned and that certain bolts have to be changed for a wheel alignment on the car. THe company good year charged me $100 said they will only give me $50 dollars back and they have really nasty attitudes. I should get a full refund because the work wasn’t done properly. What should I do?

    Normally, you could go to small claims court, but for $50 it’s not worth it. You can write a bad review about them online if you can find a listing for their shop, but otherwise, there is nothing you can do.

    I would contact Goodyear directly (their corporate office), and not the local shop. Explain your dissatisfaction in the service you received. With the way the economy is right now, and the competition they have from all the other places you could get the work done at, I’d bet they will rectify the problem real quickly.
