I like the Design of the SLR but its the dumbest thing ever they go to all that trouble to build a strong and light chassis and then weigh it down with a ton of accessories. It really brings shame to Mclaren honestly. The Mclaren F1 was true to Mclaren but the SLR is just another rich A-hole’s toy. Plus its a DSG not even manual. Its an expensive Touring car.

Great car, no question, but it seems like it is WAY over priced!!!
not that it is the same, but think Corvette. a good 6-8 year old corvette will run around 20K and is still a great car, plenty of performance, and a really sharp looking car…

I have a S10 with a 383 stroker 515HP on engine.
I just hooked up a 150 HP NOS setup
And I did all the work - and it is a road worthy driver.
Done for less than 20,000.

yes that is nice,its one of those times that makes you wish you was rich ,if only for a few minutes,at least long enough to buy the car,that is nice though,maybe someday you will be rich ,at least enough to buy the car with,who knows anything can happen,good luck with it.
