Most dashboards now ARE digital, it is just that the displays are analog. The main reason was because they did not sell well. Not enough people share your enthusiasm for digital dashes. Some other guy said analog looking gauges are in a way digital that is not true for most cars since most do not go thru any kind of processor. Cars with trip computers do eventually go to digital.
